Growing Love & Hope: Showing Up for Our Community
October 3, 2026 Community Update

A note from our founder
My Love Letter to You

Fall is here, and with each changing season comes a sense of transition.
Change can be exciting, but let’s be honest: it can also feel uncomfortable. What once felt safe, familiar, and predictable may be giving way to something new. Growth asks us to stay open, take on new challenges, and keep learning along the way.
Share the Love is growing and adapting, too. As our work evolves, our mission remains the same: to minimize the effects of poverty in the lives of children by meeting real needs with real love. We do this by supporting families, providing timely help with children’s essential needs, raising the funds that make our programs possible, and inviting our community to give and volunteer. Our growth isn’t just measured in numbers—it’s in the hearts we touch.
It’s a big mission, but together, we can make a difference.
In this issue, we share how we’re providing local students with hygiene essentials, highlight a longtime corporate partner, and show all the ways you can join the effort.
Stepping into something new can feel daunting. But when we keep growing together, the impact makes the journey worthwhile.
Together, we can!
With love,
Robyn

Thank You for Sharing the Love!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our Friends & Family Matching Day. Whether you made a donation, shared our campaign, invited someone to participate, or encouraged our work, you helped make the day meaningful.
Every gift brings us one step closer to providing Christmas gifts for children and supporting families experiencing hardship. Your generosity reminds us of what is possible when friends, families, and Love Growers come together around a shared purpose.
Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us meet real needs with real love. Together, we can!
Business Partner Spotlight
Keller Williams Atlanta North

In this issue, we are proud to recognize Jim Alexander and the Keller Williams Atlanta North team for their continued partnership and generous support of our Annual Christmas Gift Giveaway.
For the past three years, Keller Williams Atlanta North has consistently helped us bring Christmas joy to local children and families experiencing hardship. Through their sponsorship, the company has provided gifts for an incredible 249 children serving 83 families! This year, the team is returning to sponsor more children.
Beyond gifts beneath the tree, this partnership eases the financial strain on local families during the holiday season while ensuring children experience the magic of receiving gifts picked straight from their Christmas wish lists.
Keller Williams Atlanta North is a wonderful example of what it means to be a Love Grower:
- Consistently investing in children
- Strengthening families
- Helping hope grow throughout our community
We are grateful for their partnership and look forward to their continued support as we work together to reach even more families.
You and your team can bring that same magic to local families this season. Together, we can ensure every child wakes up to a brighter, happier Christmas morning.

What’s Happening Now
Neighbors Helping Neighbors This Holiday Season

When people picture helping the “less fortunate,” they often think of individuals with little to no income, living in shelters or on the streets. But today, the face of need looks different.
Frequently, it looks like working families—single mothers and fathers working full-time, putting in overtime, and balancing side gigs just to afford life’s basic essentials: rent, groceries, and gas. Many are raising their children out of extended-stay motels while working every day, trapped in a cycle where motel fees, daily transportation, and food leave no room to save for a security deposit or first month’s rent.
These are some of the families Share the Love seeks to support: parents who need a helping hand and children who deserve the chance to feel cared for, especially during the holidays.
When you choose Share the Love as your charity of choice this year, your donation directly empowers families who need it most. Here is how you can make a difference today:
Sponsor a Child: Gather your family, team, or business to sponsor children this Christmas.
- Choose how many children you would like to support, and we will create a personalized online registry based on their wish lists.
- Give a financial donation of $50 per child and we’ll take care of the shopping for you.
Click “Sponsor a Child” to sign up, or click “Sponsorship Information” to learn more.
Shop Our Online Registry: Browse items from children’s wish lists. Each purchase helps fulfill a child’s holiday wish.
Give a Financial Donation: A gift of any amount helps us meet children’s needs and bring their holiday wishes to life.

School social workers are on the front lines every day, connecting students and families with critical support. By putting supplies directly into their hands, we ensure that kids facing hardship receive basic hygiene essentials quickly, discreetly, and with complete dignity.
Access to these everyday basics makes a world of difference for a student’s self-esteem. When children feel clean and confident, they can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and thriving. It also provides crucial relief to parents who are working hard to meet basic household needs.
We are deeply grateful to every Love Grower who helps keep our Mobile Toiletry Closet stocked and on the road. Together, we are easing the weight of hardship in our community—one student and one family at a time.
